About this property

Welcome to Passo del Baremone

Passo del Baremone, nestled in the heart of 25070 Anfo in the Province of Brescia, Italy, is a captivating high mountain pass that beckons adventure seekers and nature lovers alike. Rated an impressive 4.6, this destination is renowned for its stunning panoramic views and rugged terrain, offering a genuine slice of the Italian alpine experience.

This pass, also known by its historical name Passo Marè, forms part of the old military road connecting Anfo to the Forte di Cima Ora and links to the Passo del Maniva by a narrow, partly unpaved route. Winding through narrow trails with steep drops and minimal safety barriers, Passo del Baremone demands respect and caution, especially from motorcyclists and hikers. The experience is not for the faint-hearted or casual drivers, as its uneven, gravelly stretches and sharp switchbacks challenge even seasoned riders.

Many visitors, like Vincenzo Rampinelli, appreciate the breathtaking landscape but warn of the dangers: steep, narrow roads with unpaved sections require maximum attention. Hikers such as Dante Consonni embrace the pass as part of invigorating excursions that combine history with nature, traversing icy segments at high altitude and exploring fortifications from the Great War.

The pass offers more than just a road—it is a journey through time and nature. Its connection to World War I defenses adds a layer of historical intrigue to the natural beauty. Travelers like Michele C. praise the route for its thrilling motorbike and scooter rides, especially the stretch toward Maniva, where a kilometer of dirt path only adds to the sense of adventure and discovery.

For those who seek to engage fully with the environment, Passo del Baremone provides ample opportunities for hiking, motorbiking, photography, and exploring ancient military ruins. The narrow roads, stunning alpine views, and proximity to Lake Garda’s southern shores make this an unforgettable escape that demands respect and preparedness.

In sum, Passo del Baremone is not just a mountain pass; it is an emblem of adventure and resilience. Its rough beauty and historical significance create a profound connection to the Italian Alps, inviting visitors to experience both the thrill of mountainous travel and the serene majesty of untouched nature.

Fatto in vespa oggi. Bellissimo.
